Introduction
Dr. Jennifer Simon is an accomplished meditation and mindfulness practitioner, researcher, and instructor with 25+ years of dedicated experience in numerous meditation, mindfulness, and mind-training disciplines. Her professional and healing approach has inspired thousands, including groups of students, parents, teachers, senior executives, over 3,000 U.S. Military and service personnel including the Navy SEALS, police, public defenders, and New York City Firemen. Dr. Simon has offered classes throughout the U.S., and internationally via live web classes. Since 2014 she has focused on teaching mindfulness and mind training skills in schools by working with their teachers, counselors, coaches, school leaders, and thousands of students including dozens of high school sports teams and their coaches, as well as therapeutic student groups at both the high school and middle school levels. She is an active board member for One Tough Cookie, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support and encouragement to those with cancer. Her focus here is to bring programs that will help increase patients' mental and emotional coping skills and wellness during their treatments.
Dr. Simon first and foremost considers herself a student of life who is still learning and growing; she believes in the goodness available within all things and feels honored by the opportunity to share what she has learned with others. She holds a Doctor of Education degree with a focus on Educational Leadership from Manhattanville College where she studied the effects of meditation on the well-being and leadership abilities of educational leaders in the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, she holds a Masters of Educational Technology from Pace University.
She has a genuinely positive and calming nature that brings people together, creating a better family / team environment. She is passionate about training and education and cares deeply about providing relevant, empowering, interesting, and engaging programs that enhance personal and professional well-being and skillsets.
